Excerpt from the Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden Airport fee regulations
Effective: April 1st, 2012 – all fees excluding applicable turnover tax, all data without guarantee

1. General

1.1 For the utilisation of ATC services and facilities for aircraft, a fee (approach fee) is payable to the aerodrome operator by the aircraft operating agencies or the pilots in accordance with these airport tariffs.

1.2 For aircraft and helicopters, the applicable approach fee is based on the maximum take-off mass (MTOM) as indicated in the certificate of airworthiness.

1.3 Fees begin to accrue at landing, touch-and-go or low approach. No approach fee will be levied for landings, touch-and-go or low approaches leaving the traffic circuit for training and instruction flights of aircraft operators based at Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden Airport.

1.4 The approach fee shall generally be paid in euros at the GAT or at the aviation supervision office prior to take-off or after landing. In special cases, it may be paid at a later date if prior arrangements with the airport operator have been made.

The airport operator reserves the right to levy an invoice forwarding fee for the service, if necessary.

1.5 The approach fee is subject to § 10 Para 1 of the Turnover Tax Act. The debtor, therefore, has to pay the turnover tax additionally.
