Air Cargo Handling
Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden Airport (FKB) has demonstrated that it is well equipped for all types of air traffic. This was also confirmed by the visit of the Antonov AN 225 on November 19th, 2007. The AN 225 with its 32-wheel landing gear system and six turbofan engines is the world’s largest aircraft.

Operating hours
For aircraft up to 5.7 tons MTOM
Workdays: from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. local time (CET / CEST)
Sundays and public holidays: from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time
Additionally for aircraft above 5.7 tons MTOM
Workdays: also until 11 p.m. local time (CET / CEST) – PPR required!
Sundays and public holidays: from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. local time – PPR required!
Customs
The customs at the Airport are available during operating hours. Declaration of animals is possible on request.
Apron for air cargo:
Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden Airport is equipped with an own apron for dealing with all types of cargo.
Storage facilities:
A warehouse next to the apron can be used for storing air cargo.
