Although it only has a span of 37.8 metres, the cantilevered, covered bridge, which is also open to traffic, is one of the longest of its kind in Europe and is a small wooden attraction. It has existed in its present form since 1778. It was badly damaged during the Second World War and was therefore demolished in 1954/1955 and rebuilt true to the original plans.
