Mehliskopf Sports and Activity Centre
The ‘Mehliskopf’ has an altitude of over 3,300 feet and can be accessed right via the ‘Schwarzwaldhochstrasse’, the scenic B500 road winding through the northern Black Forest. A tower marks the summit of the Mehliskopf, from which a spectacular 360° panoramic vista over the Black Forest peaks and valleys can be enjoyed.
For over 30 years now, the Mehliskopf ski slopes and lifts (2,600 and 1,300 feet long) have been among the finest and largest winter sports complexes at the Schwarzwaldhochstrasse – and even if the winter weather doesn’t meet requirements, snow cannons ensure that conditions stays perfect. Thanks to floodlights, the slops of the centre are open until 10pm.
The Mehliskopf Sports & Activity Centre has plenty to offer in the summer months also. Why not wind your way down the hillside on the 0.6 miles long bob run? If you need an even bigger kick, don’t miss the downhill go-karts and the treetop adventure course.
For younger visitors, the big adventure playground provides plenty of fun and enjoyment. And to round things off, the pavilion restaurant offers delicious culinary delights from the Baden region.
