Old town Gernsbach

Gernsbach, the ‘Pearl of the Murg Valley’, looks back on an eventful past. Impressive monuments in the historic old town bear witness to the wealth of days gone by, when the Murg raftsmen still transported their oak trunks across the Murg and Rhine to Rotterdam.
