Regional products & “Farm Shop” cycle route

The Rural District of Rastatt is keen and proud to support regional and local produce. The region offers a wide range of opportunities for you to buy top-quality, fresh local food products and at the same time learn about where the produce stems from.

If you like the idea of combining a cycle tour with sampling of regional products, be sure not to miss the 28 miles Farm Shop Tour (‘Hofladentour’). This is a circular cycle route, winding through seven small towns and villages and passing by all kinds of cosy farm shops for you to call in at. The more than 15 vendors offer a variety of products, ranging from meat products from their own farm-bread animals and freshly baked artisan bread loaves to seasonal fruit and locally produced vegetables.
