Spoilt by the sun – Baden wine landscape
We can proudly speak of the ‘Black Forest wine region’, as 80% of Baden’s popular wines are produced in the five Black Forest wine-growing regions. The third largest wine-growing region in Germany produces a wide variety of refined Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris. Regional accents are also set with other varieties. Chasselas is considered a speciality in the Markgräflerland. In Ortenau, on the other hand, Riesling, also known as Klingelberger, is at home. Sample the delicious wines at one of the numerous wine tasting events, a wine tasting or on a culinary wine hike.
