Current information on the corona virus and the flights from Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden Airport (FKB)
Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden Airport is READY TO GO for the resumption of scheduled passenger flights.
We have implemented extensive measures to restart air traffic and ensure safe travel. Health protection is a top priority for everyone at the airport. This includes the obligation for all passengers, visitors and employees at an airport to wear a nose and throat covering (mandatory mask). This mask requirement applies in the publicly accessible areas of the airport as soon as you enter the passenger building (terminal) and includes the transport route to and from the aircraft.
We monitor compliance with the distance and hygiene rules and the mask requirement. The uniform handling of the mask requirement at the airports requires discipline from all travellers and employees as well as consistent compliance with the regulations. At the same time, this measure significantly minimizes the risk of infection for all travellers, visitors and employees. In Baden-Württemberg the mask requirement applies to children from 6 years. We advise all passengers to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours prior to departure and to proceed quickly to the check-in area and through the security checks.
We thank you for your support and cooperation!

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it is possible, that scheduled and holiday flights will be cancelled at short notice or adjusted!
The tourism and aviation industry is experiencing a time of extreme stress for companies. The consequences of the Covid-19 crisis lay like a close-knit network over aviation, and public and private life is being restricted in all areas.
However, Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden Airport remains open to supplying the population. We maintain flight operations for the General Aviation, such as the DRF Luftrettung, the helicopter squadron of the police or for the business aviation, harvest worker, cargo and special flights.
The employees of the Baden-Airpark GmbH continue to be there for you even in the short-time work (which startet on 01 April) and despite the reduced flight operations.
Take care of each other and take care of yourself! We look forward to seeing you again soon!
